AUDITIONS



COMPANY AUDITIONS

Rochester City Ballet will be holding company auditions for the 2012-2013 season during the months of January, February & March 2012. There will be no set audition date for Rochester as we would like to see dancers in company class for 2 or more days.

In order to request a company class audition, please contact Deborah Tretter at dtretter@rochestercityballet.com and include the following information:
- Resume
- Head shot and full body photo(s)
- Link to online video of recent performance footage

You may also send audition information through the mail
with a DVD of your recent work to:

Your information will be evaluated by the artistic director and we will contact you with the results and to set dates for your audition. Audition materials will not be returned. Requests for company class will not be granted without a DVD or video of your recent work. Thank you.

Rochester City Ballet's dancers work for 34 contracted weeks out of a 52 (touring dates may add additional weeks). Medical insurance, workman's comp, disability, shoes and tights are some of the benefits enjoyed by company members. RCB is looking for company dancers and apprentices for the 2012/2013 season.

Registration begins at 12:30pm - class at 1:00pm
$20 registration fee - cash, check or charge

Please bring: resume, headshot, full body photo(s). Females bring pointe shoes


THE NUTCRACKER

Auditions for our annual production of The Nutcracker, with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra, take place in late August of each year. Young dancers, ages 5-12, are welcome to audition. Please check back in June 2012 for the audition date for the November 2012 production.
