Company Auditions

Rochester City Ballet, under the direction of Megan Kamler and Shannon Purpura, is seeking male and female dancers with strong classical and contemporary technique for paid company positions and paid apprentice positions for the 2026–2027 season. Preliminary audition resumes and dance reels are being accepted beginning November 3rd, 2025. Company class auditions will take place in Rochester, NY on January 12th, 2026.

Company class auditions are by invitation only. Individuals interested in being considered for a company class audition may submit the following materials:

• Résumé /CV including your email address, height, citizenship, training and performance experience

• Current headshot

• Video link (Vimeo or YouTube only) including at least one classical variation and one contemporary variation

Please note that an audition is not guaranteed. Audition invitations will be granted once the artistic staff have reviewed your materials and feel that you may be an appropriate candidate. We look forward to hearing from you and receiving your application.
