Deena Rodriguez is the Wardrobe Mistress for Rochester City Ballet. A Rochester, New York native, Deena’s love of sewing began over 30 years ago when her daughter, Shannon, started dancing. Proudly self-taught, Deena has honed her craft through decades of hands-on experience and has had the great pleasure of working alongside—and learning from—the incomparable Kathleen Kittelberger during her many years with RCB. Over the past two decades, Deena has created countless exquisite costumes for the company, from stunning classical tutus to imaginative and powerful contemporary designs. She is passionate about bringing artistic visions to life through costume and takes great pride in supporting dancers on stage.
