Kaylyn is a Rochester transplant, originally from Memphis, TN. Growing up in Memphis, she was a competitive dancer at Dance Dynamics Memphis, where she developed her love and knowledge of dance. Her journey from Memphis to Rochester reflects her dedication and passion for her craft, inspiring others to pursue their own paths in theater and dance. Due to several injuries, Kay turned backstage and found her true calling in Stage & Production Management. 

After completing her BFA in Technical Theater Design & Management at the University of Memphis, she and her partner quickly found a home up North after working in the Finger Lakes region! Within her first year in Rochester, she had worked with several universities and theater companies, which led her to meet Shannon & Megan at RCB in the spring of 2025!

Kaylyn continues to work with other theater companies, helps run a wedding planning business, and assists the staff at The Children’s Center of Brighton when she’s not at the ballet. 

Kay is incredibly excited and grateful to embark on this next chapter in her career, and even more so to return home to the studio. Her enthusiasm reflects her appreciation for the opportunities at RCB and her eagerness to contribute to the community, encouraging the audience to share in her positive outlook.
